LEARN MORE

A few months ago, I had the great fortune of seeing one of my personal musical heroes play live.

In the spirit of sharing more different kinds of articles and more of my own musical expression and inspiration on Piano Couture, I decided it was time to get back to covering and in conjunction pay tribute to the man that has made me see the light again, after witnessing one of the most awe-inspiring concerts I have ever witnessed.

To get “back in the game,” nudge me over, putting me back on track or whatever you want to call it, I decided to just go for it and film this one-taker (with Rhodes overdub). My plans are -if they get well received- to start making more of these and I have some cool ideas for editing, structuring and configuring them too.

Stay tuned for that. 🙂

For now, this one simply for your enjoyment. Love.

Please let me know what you think in the comments below!

Cheers, Coen.

  1. Great cover! You really made a lovely video man! Have you already heard wrong man from his new album? That would be really great to hear you play…

    • Thanks so much Sjoerd! Yes I love his whole new album. Genuinely amazing music. “Wrong man” is an awesome track as well indeed, might be a really nice idea to make a cover for that one! Will definitely keep it in mind.
Thanks again for your comment 🙂
      Cheers

  2. You are an inspiration and have shown me how to take my love for music in a direction that allows me to enjoy that love. By the way, you sounded boss.

    • Clive, thank you so much for this comment. It’s messages like these that in fact inspire me to continue moving forward with my musical endeavors! 🙂
